Original vintage watercolor painting titled “French Cottage - Wash Day” by Missouri artist Herman A. Scharhag (1924-2012). Framed and matted under plexiglass. Measures approximately 20 1/4” by 24 1/4”.
Scharhag was a World War II veteran and architect. He was also a well-known local watercolor artist in the Kansas City, Missouri, art community. There is foxing/spotting in the upper right section of the matting and replacing is advised.
